We do our best to get the bonus patterns posted shortly after the magazine goes on sale each year. Sometimes it takes a little extra time if corrections are needed during the proofing process. All patterns should be posted by the start of the Shop Hop.

Becky Lindquist is a Grandma’s Attic employee who loves to create quilts, including putting her spin on time-honored classics. She has an art degree and loves to create displays in the shop. Her designs have appeared in both Grandma’s Attic shop and website, and include Block of the Month programs, quilt patterns, and aprons.

Wendy Martin has been sewing, quilting, and crafting all her life, remembering tying quilts with both her grandmothers. Quilting remains her favorite craft to this day, especially the math and calculations it takes to design a quilt. A lifelong South Dakota resident, Wendy is a wife, mother of two, and a nurse who runs a Longarm Quilting business and raises a large flock of sheep. When all that does not keep her busy, she enjoys card making and paper crafting with her mother.
Highland MeadowBy Cheran Bee – Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop
Cheran has been designing quilts and running a local quilt shop (Fiddlesticks), for more than a decade. Between the shop and longarm quilting for customers she also finds the time to create patterns, books & BOM’s. She is drawn to traditional quilts and loves to give them a fresh look. Anne Marcellis began quilting in 2001 and has since become a prominent figure in her quilting community. He taught her how to draft patterns – starting with chair cushions and drapes. From there she moved on to clothing and then (inspired by a stack of family quilts made by her great aunt) – to quilting. Many of her quilt designs are block-based – traditional with a modern twist. Elizabeth Riffey is an award-winning costume maker turned machine embroiderer and quilter. She started modifying store-bought patterns and eventually learned to draft her own. After buying her first embroidery machine, Elizabeth began creating embroidery designs and opened her Etsy shop, Karakitsunui, selling her embroidered and sewn creations. She has since dug deep into the world of quilting, writing patterns for her local shop, Just for Fun! Quilting. Elizabeth loves designing inspired quilts and helping quilters build their quilts and choose fabrics using her keen eye for color and detail.
